Doomed Mammals show at Maryville Tomato Head
03.22.2010 - 12:00 amBeginning Sunday April 4th, The "Doomed Mammals" exhibit will move from downtown Knoxville over to the Maryville, TN Tomato Head. The show will remain on view through the month of April with an artist closing reception on Saturday May 1st from 3-5pm.
The show exhibits all of Armbruster's most recent panels from the Potato Boy, Ducklips, and The Legend of the Frog Monkeys series. Please see her online gallery for availability.

At the reception, Julie Armbruster will debut her newest art book, "Idealism Requires Patience: The Story of Potato Boy and Elmore." This is a limited edition of 5 hand bound books with 23 artist plates and a carved wooden cover. The book illustrates the entire story of Potato Boy and his sinister pet duck Elmore. Come and meet the artist and share some pizza!
