Things to think about:
1. How large to I want my work to be?
2. How many characters do I want?
3. Are there current characters from my website galleries that you want to use or do you want to suggest a new character?
4. How detailed do you want the background to be? Is there a background or setting that you see in one of my current works that you'd like to incorporate?

5. What kind of surface do you want?
Encaustic: wax with matte, fragile surface
Resin: very think, shiny almost glass like
Varnish: thin, shiny but maintains painterly style of brush strokes

6. Prices for commissions vary based on the materials, size, and number of characters. Generally, commission prices are comparable to prices for my original works.
$75-100 small with one or two characters
$200-450 medium with more than two characters or one huge detailed character
$450-1200 large with many characters and developed background
The surface and framing also play an important consideration in the price.

7. Each commission comes with 2 free modifications. You will be able to request changes during the sketching process and again once the painting is finished. Additional requests require a $25/hour charge.

8. Depending on my show and studio schedule at the time of the request, commissions generally take about 4-6 weeks.
