Newsworthy Drawing Club Book Show
12.31.2009 - 12:00 amNewsworthy Drawing Club will be releasing their second annual book at Harvest Records in West Asheville on Friday January 8th 7pm-10pm. The reception will feature a handbound, limited-edition book containing color illustration plates and articles created and collected by members Julie Armbruster and R. Brooke Priddy. The illustrations highlight 2009 current events and provide a creative interpretation of each news article. Original art from the book will also be on display and will remain up at Harvest Records for the month of January.
The show will also feature musical talents of Matt Evans, Now You See Them, and Angi West who have constructed songs based around the illustrations for the book.
